Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discussed the application of multi-line driving which can increase the duty ratio rather than the line-by-line driving method to passive-matrix driven organic light emitting display (PMOLED) in order to reduce the luminance deterioration. To drive the plural OLEDs in the same luminance, the voltage driving is preferred to the current driving, but the voltage driving causes another non-uniform luminance problem due to the voltage drop on the electrode. To solve this problem, some calculated values which can compensate the luminous non-uniformity were added to the input data. This method was estimated with a practical panel.
