A Consideration of Soft-Start Circuit of DC-DC Converter

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a new soft-start method in the digital control dc-dc converter. In the conventional analog control dc-dc converter, the soft-start is operated by large time constant must be set corresponding to the worth condition. However, in the digital control, it is possible that the time constant of the soft start circuit corresponding to the load value. As results, it is clarified that the digital control method superior soft-start characteristics to the analog control method because the rising time becomes shorter than fifteenth.
