Abstract(in English) We have been developing a location estimation system by using a pair of leaky coaxial cables for security application and traffic application. Recently there is a great demand of position detection system that can be used under a bad weather condition where surveillance camera cannot be used. Therefore, we propose a two-dimensional location estimation method by using a pair of leaky coaxial cables (LCX). The position of the object is measured by propagation delay time of both direct wave and reflected wave from the end of LCX. Moreover we evaluate the estimation accuracy by experimental results.
