Abstract(in English) Aiming an immunoassay application, a standard CMOS chip which actuates dispersed magnetic beads was designed and fabricated. The chip has some sets of parallel metal patterns and currents on the patterns were switched and shifted stepwise. Magnetic beads were applied on to the chip and various actuation patterns were examined. Despite increment of driving current, the beads had an upper limit of its actuation velocity. This is supposed the magnetic force increased friction as well as driving force. On the other hand, the minimal required current for actuation represents the surface affinity which is good marker of the assay.
