Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, passive intermodulation (PIM) generated in an asseembled cable with small connectors installed on a panel is evluated using the tapping device with constant impact force of 10N. A QMA connector connected to a semirigid coaxial cable is employed as DUT. It is confirmed that the 10N-tappig device enables to affect not on the input characteristics but the PIM responce only. It is also confirmed that tapping on the coupling shell or the connected cable gives a different PIM response and detect different contact status in the tested connector.
