Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The magnetic stimulation is the way of stimulating the nervous and muscle tissue non-invasively by the induced electric current caused by a pulse electric current in the coil and is used in the evaluation of the nervous system and the field of the exercise physiology. However, the focality of the stimulation is still unclear. In this study, we measured the induced electric current when we varied the coil size and arrangement and investigated the focality of stimulation using the approximate model. As the result, we can stimulate focally when the coil size is smaller than the approximate model.
