| 抄録(和) | 観察角度に依らない物体認識の脳内表現を明らかにするため,視覚処理の最終段に位置するITの神経細胞の応答を記録し,事前に経験した三次元物体の異なる観察角度像への応答を調ペた.4つの類似性の高い物体を作成し,それぞれ観察角度を30°おきに90°まで変え,合計16枚の画像を物体セットとした.事前経験には,1. 同じ物体セットの画像を弁別させない単純な画像弁別タスク(Same-or-not-task) 2. セット内の物体を観察角度を変えて弁別させるタスク(Object task) 3. セット内の物体を同じ観察角度で弁別させるタスク(Image task)を用いた.Image taskでの事前経験の後,幾つかのIT神経細胞は観察角度に依らない物体認識を表現していた.事前経験のタスクに依ってIT神経細胞の三次元物体の表現は異なっていた. |
| 抄録(英) | To reveal neural representations of the view-invariant object recognition, responses of neurons in IT, which locates at final of the ventral visual stream, to images of 3D objects, which the monkey experienced priorly, at several viewing angles were examined. The prior experience consists of Same-or-not task in which the monkey does not experience discrimination of objects from similar distractors, Object task which requires associations of the object images at different viewing angles, and Image task which requires discrimination of objects from similar distractors at the same viewing angles. Some IT neurons represented view-invariant object recognition after the monkey experienced the objects in the Image task. The representations of the 3D objects in the IT differed depending on the prior experience. |
