Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Odor tracking have various application. For example, odor could be removed completely by defining odor sources by tracking odor. Especially odor tracking is expected in robotics. In this study, we measured fluorescence quenching by odor materials. Moreover, we tried to recognize odor flow based on optical method using cooled CCD camera imaging and fluorescence dyes as odor detection probs. Fluorescence dyes are used as sheet and could visualize odor shape and flow by obtaining odor information such as odor concentration gradient.
