Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent year, Brain-computer Interface (BCI) has been studied extensively. In order to control conversation devices, such as artificial hand and leg using EEG, we first need to extract subjects'intention on operating the equipment in real-time. In this research, as a fundamental experiment, subjects were instructed to tap their index finger at their own timings. Then, they were instructed to imagine tapping their index finger as same as the previous task. During those tasks, EEG signals were recorded and analyzed to catch the changes of EEG features. As results, band powers of EEG signals were changed between backward and forward tapping motion/imagery of tapping motion. Moreover, subject operated the displayed ball by using motor imaginary and succeeded in somewhat moving the ball.
