Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this research was to evaluate an AR (Augmented Reality) textbook for learning celestial bodies, which can show 3D images of lecturer and 3D models of objects on the textbook. First, an AR textbook was developed experimentally using AR authoring software, CG modeling software, and movies. Second, an AR textbook was evaluated subjectively by 31 university students from 7 points ; comprehension, view, interesting, application, motivation, tiredness, and presence of lecture. As a result of the survey, it was suggested that there is possibility to improve the understanding and the motivation of learning by the presence of the lecturer images. Also, it developed that the presence of lecturer was progressed. In addition, the results show that the learner progressed in the interest of studying. Moreover, it was suggested that an AR textbook could be applied to Asynchronous e-Leaming.
