Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Structure of a system on cloud computing environments will be grown to be more complicated than on a legacy ICT system which has been structured according to the client-server model, because components of the cloud computing system could be distributed and virtualized. The verification of systems and technologies, which might be able to forecast some problems and crisises caused by concerning systems and technologies, is important in new generation of ICT system involves such complicated cloud computing environments. In this paper, we figure out requirements of testbed to verify technologies concerning cloud computing, and also discuss issues of testbed for cloud computing. Furthermore, we report our experience of operating "StarBED" as a cloud computing testbed for "Cloud Computing Competition on Interop Tokyo 2010".
