Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Currently, many of web services require web access and/or e-mail as their user interface, that makes obstacle to senior users. As a mean to mitigate digital divide, this paper proposes a sophisticated method to add telephony interface to web services and shows an implementation example to medical application. By making software PBX (extension switch) cooperate with web service, input/output to web service could be achieved by ordinary telephone device and users can talk with web service interactively. Furthermore, fax output of user's web page and the use of voice mail could be available.
