Abstract(in English) Instead of performing active measurements between a pair of particular end-hosts, we propose a method of estimating quality of service (QoS) such as latency between hosts through passive measurements, which enables us to grasp network-wide QoS states such as QoS matrix. In this paper, we focus on round trip time (RTT). To achieve scalability, we utilize hash-based sampling and bloom filter to estimate RTTs without analyzing all the packets. We also show the evaluation results of our method using actual measurement data.
