Abstract(in English) | We review our recent work on the development of components for future terahertz remote sensing system based on the semiconductor quantum cascade structure. The focus is mainly placed on a compact THz emitter, an amplifier section with large gain bandwidth, THz beam manipulation device, and an enhanced electro-optic detection. We discuss individual components of the system with respect to the current state-of-the-art and challenges, and we show our approaches to address them. |
