Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Considering all-optical WDM networks, we propose an end-to-end optical path/packet-integrated system, and especially explain extensions of socket API and implement and evaluate the system. Our proposed system enables an end user to establish an end-to-end optical path and to utilize ultra-speed and QoS-guaranteed communication.
