Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, environmental problems have been occurred by the progress in technology and the increase of the population. Especially global warming and desertification have become serious problems. Microwave remote sensing will be the one of the powerful tool to realize global environmental observation. It can measure wide range of the earth without depending on weather and so forth. In POLSAR analysis, model based decomposition is the powerful tool to classify terrain from the difference of scattering property. However, in the conventional technique negative component-power is often observed, because of inadequate volume scattering model. In this report, selection of volume scattering model in Adaptive-Non-Negative-Eigenvalue-Decomposition(ANNED) method is considered. In this report, we examined POLSAR image analysis for SIR-C/X-SAR and ALOS by using ANNED method.
