Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the modernization of air traffic management system progresses, new communication systems have been developed. In Europe, digital aeronautical communication systems using L-band radio, L-DACs, are considered for a candidate of the future global air-groung communication system. Currently, there are two candidate systems, namely L-DACS1 and L-DACS-2. The selection for a candidate system is to be made in the near future. These would be a candidate system for the international standards of the future aeronautical communication system. This paper introduces the results of the survey on the background, processes of development of L-DACS and current status of the candidate systems.
