Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This manuscript discusses the portability of input devices and proposes a portable joystick system that functions as a usual joystick. The portable joystick system consists of a data glove and an everyday object such as a ball-pointed pen and a spray can. This manuscript also conducted some ISO9241-9 based experiments on the usability of the portable joystick system under a couple of conditions. The first one evaluates the effect of 3 dimensional sounds on our perception of the angular positions of the portable joystick. The second one evaluates the effect of BGMs on the usability and the last one does the effect of the mismatch between control coordinates and screen coordinates on it.
