| Abstract(in English) | This study investigated the relationship between children's eye movements and understanding of the stories in the reading a picture-book. The accuracy rate of story comprehension tests were increased with advancing age. 3-year-old child who got a correct answer on the most difficult question paid more visual attention toward the appropriate target area in the picture-book, compared to another 3-year-old child made a wrong answer. While 5-year-old child did not get a correct answer on the same question, this child's eye movement was widely. So, to make clear children's eye movement in the reading a picture-book, we suggested that the more detailed analysis should be required. |
