| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,育児中の20組の父親と母親の乳児の泣き声に対する心理生理的反応を測定し,性別および,乳幼児の泣き声に対する不快度の観点から比較検討した.具体的には,他人の乳児の泣き声を聴取中の父親,母親の心拍数,皮膚コンダクタンス変化を測定した.その結果,乳児の泣き声に対する父親と母親の生理的な反応には統計学的な差異は見られなかった.すなわち,どちらにおいても,泣き声聴取により心拍数は一過的に低下した後ベースラインに戻り,皮膚コンダクタンス変化は急激に上昇した.ただし,細かく見ると,母親と比較して父親の心拍のベースラインへの復帰はいくぶん早く,皮膚コンダクタンス変化は若干高いことが示された.このことから,父親は母親より泣き声を不快に感じる傾向があることが示唆された.また,乳幼児泣き声不快尺度における差に関しては,私的状況不快得点が低い父親では,心拍数に一過性の低下が見られず,心拍数に関する限り不快低群の父親は泣き声から受ける影響が少ないことが示された. |
| 抄録(英) | In this study, the psychophysiological responses to infant crying in 20 dyads of fathers and mothers were investigated with reference to the degrees of discomfort to infant crying. The heart rates (HR) and skin conductance changes (SCC) of the participants were measured while they were exposed to unfamiliar infant's cries. The results showed that there was no statistical difference between fathers and mothers in HR as well as in SCC; both fathers and mothers exhibited transient HR decelerations followed by gradual returns to the baseline levels; they similarly showed sustained increases in SCC. A close inspection into the results, however, indicated that recoveries of HR of fathers were somewhat faster than those of mothers and increased levels of SCC in fathers were slightly higher than those of mothers, suggesting that fathers felt infant crying as more stressful than mothers. As for the differences in degrees of discomfort to infant crying, fathers of low discomfort in 'personal situations' showed no transient HR decelerations, indicating that they were little affected by infant crying as far as HR was concerned. |
