| 抄録(和) | 正面を向いた顔の様子をカメラで撮影した画像に対する顔検出技術が発達しており,デジタルカメラなどへの応用が進んでいる.一方,日常生活においては無意識のうちに手などで顔の一部を隠すことも多く,顔全体が見えていると仮定した学習結果に基づく検出は困難である.これは,例えば人との自然な対話を目指すロボットに搭載したカメラで顔を検出する場合には問題となる.そこで本研究では,手などで顔の一部にオクルージョンが生じた場合でも顔を精度よく検出する手法について提案する.これを実現するために,顔の一部に隠蔽があった場合に,隠れていないと推定される複数の顔器官の位置や大きさに関する情報を統合して,顔が存在する位置の判断を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | A frontal face detection technology is well developed recently. The technology is applied to digital cameras. On the other hand, human hides a part of their face by hands etc unconsciously in their daily life. In the situation, it is difficult to detect human's face with camera installed on the mobile communication robots that aims at a natural conversation with the person. In this research, we propose a method for detecting person's face when there are occlusions on their faces from observation cameras. The key point of our method is that we integrate the information of position and size of parts of human's face which are not occluded from a camera when whole face cannot be observed. The final results for detecting face are expressed by likelihood of the face positions. |
