Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are many researches of manipulating the position or shape of virtual objects in AR space. AR workspaces have been concerned, in which we can confirm the look of completed real world objects easily. However, there are few interfaces which enable us to manipulate virtual objects from a distance comfortably in the AR space. Therefore, we propose an input interface using a touch panel in order to improve operability in case that user manipulates virtual objects from a distance in immersive AR space based HMD. In the system, virtual 3D objects are showed on the touch panel, which are miniatures of the distant virtual objects and moves associated with them. This interaction allows users to manipulate the distant virtual objects. This paper presents related works, details of our proposed interface, implemantation method and evaluation method of it.
