Abstract(in English) In this paper we introduce activities of IEEE 802.19 Task Group 1, which is working on standardization project of IEEE P802.19.1 to enable the family of IEEE 802 Wireless Standards to most effectively use TV White Space by providing standard coexistence methods among dissimilar or independently operated TV Band devices (TVBD) and networks. NICT of Japan is active in this group and NICT's contributions are explained. We provide detailed discussion current system architecture and reference model of P802.19.1.
