A Study on the Effect of Color Environment on Operating Efficiency

Abstract(in English) In recent years, various proposals are performed for the color coordination of the living space, then the number of colors such as interior color, partitions of the office space and wallpapers increases. That is, the color environment in houses made from wallpaper, etc, has become a factor in determining whether a comfortable living space. If you can do some work indoors, its operating efficiency is depend on various environment factors (space size, temperature, humidity, the color pattern of the wall or ceiling). In this paper, we show the effect of color environment to operating efficiency. Uchida-Kraepelin psychodiagnostic test is adopted as work. The answer the Uchida-Kraepelin psychodiagnostic tests in change the color of desk. We use six colors, red, yellow, green, cyan, blue and magenta. From the results of four men 20s, "magenta" improves the operating efficiency and "yellow" lowers the operating efficiency.
