Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a passive waveguide device to recognize BPSK labels for recognition of optical labels in photonic label routers. The device consists of cascaded asymmetric X-junction couplers, where recognition with high contrast and high scalability can be expected. The device was numerically confirmed by FD-BPM. Wavelength-independence in passive waveguide device is found to be maintained with high contrast more than 20dB in 120nm wavelength range.
