Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Along with the developments of network virtualization technologies, techniques to migrate a virtual router from a physical router to another one, without disrupting the flow of traffic, have been studied. Migration techniques allow to dynamically change the network topology or to preserve connectivity during the planned maintenance of a physical router. Thus migration techniques enable achieving a better network virtualization environment. Previous research implemented the virtual router migration technique. However, if such migration technique is used to actually manage a network, it is necessary to provide control of these migrations. In this paper, after describing practical considerations on migration techniques, we propose a virtual router migration control system. Also, in order for our proposed system to comprehend the composition of network virtualization environments, we propose a multilayer network description language.
