Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed an indoor location estimation system using only an acceleration sensor. Some problems, however, have not been solved in the previous work. For instance, when a user is taking the stairs or is gently turning a corner, it was difficult to estimate these movement situations. In this work, we propose a method to estimate such movement situations based on a pattern matching technique. More specifically, we adopt the Dynamic Programming matching (DP matching) technology which is flexible about the number of data compared for the pattern matching. The evaluation results to show the effectiveness of the proposed method through the experiments will be reported in this paper.
