Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SDP (Service Delivery Platform) can provide the value-added services which collaborate with the telecommunications carrier's services at low cost and in a short period of time. The SDP-based services are provided by collaborating with enablers which are service components. As the number of these collaborative services increase, the collaboration process will become a bottleneck, and the load of an enabler will change enormously due to the different using frequency of the enabler. In order to continue providing steady collaborative services at low cost, it is important to remove the performance bottleneck and to deal with the load change of enablers by utilizing server resources efficiently. In this paper, we propose an enhanced SDP architecture with distributed enabler-collaboration mechanism and dynamic enabler-reconfiguration which can move enablers from one server to another without shutting services down. We implement the proposed architecture and demonstrate a SDP-based service.
