Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Flooding is one of the most fundamental operations in mobile ad-hoc networks; however, pure flooding suffers from the problems of excessive redundancy, contention and collisions, which are referred to as "Broadcast Strom Problem." The objective, to reduce broadcast redundancy while still providing high delivery ratio, is a major challenge in MANETs. In this paper, we propose two schemes based-on Total Dominant Pruning with application of Passive ACK and Active NACK to provide reliable broadcast in MANETs. Further we show simulation results on delivery ratio and dissemination delay in Rayleigh fading environment in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed schemes.
