Abstract(in English) | The ultrasonic (US) image guiding radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is the effective method for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Recently, some aiding systems for paracentesis which are using a pre-operative 3D-CT image and 2D-US image were developed and commercialized. However, these systems are not considering the non-linear liver form change by posture, etc. in each photography. In our proposal method, a pre-observed 3D-CT image is deformed in three-dimensions to register to a real-time observed US image. In this report, we tried the non-linear registration of two 3D-CT data sets of the liver as fundamental study. |
