Abstract(in English) We are researching and developing the wheelchair which performs the driving which followed the wheelchair to precede. This research aims at a user's safety, improvement in convenience, and reduction of an operation load. In this report, stability and following control comfortable to ride in are proposed, keeping a constant distance corresponding to change of a road surface situation, user weight, etc. Furthermore, the result of the experiment conducted with the real wheelchair is reported as comparison examination of a control system.
