Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes proposal of comparisons criteria on both roundabouts and signalized intersections, and performance comparisons between roundabouts, a coordinated control scheme and the ADS-II ex scheme (ADS-II scheme with the extended demand function) by using these criteria. Firstly, the same area criterion, the same points' criterion and a criterion of the same number of lanes are proposed as comparisons criteria on both roundabouts and signalized intersections. Next, the performances comparisons between roundabouts, a coordinated control scheme and the ADS-II ex scheme are done by using these criteria. The results show that these performances are based on these criteria.
