Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we introduce personal mobility robot technologies in AIST for the contribution to low-carbon traffic system in compact city. Concretely, we introduce intelligent wheelchairs with autonomous and following travel capability in indoor and outdoor environment, and AIST micro mobility as compact and light-weight personal vehicle. Moreover, we discuss outline and vision about demonstration experiments in special zone for structural reform in Tsukuba-city for mobility robot travelling on public road.
