Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we investigated a fiber-endface-sealing technique using a CO_2 laser to realize easy and high-volume production HAF endface sealing. We fabricated the connectors with HAF by using this technique, and achieved a low splice loss and a high return loss when splicing HAF with a conventional single-mode fiber (SMF) connector. |
