Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We used an one-space dimensional model to analyze fiber fuse effect, theoretically. In fiber fuse, most of heat source area is probably included in the glass region. The distance between the heat source area and the highest temperature point increases with increasing the temperature of fiber fuse. Our analysis shows that the change of thermal conductivity probably plays an important role in suppressing fiber fuse propagation.
