Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Environmental issues such as global warming and depletion of energy resources are of increasing concern. To prevent the escalation of these problems, various efforts have been made on reducing CO2. In the residential sector, the dissemination of small distributed electric power generators, such as solar power and gas-cogeneration system are believed as a solution of the problems. As a result, distributed power grid that includes distributed electric power generator, such as micro-grids, are required to build. In such a micro-grid, an energy management system (EMS) considering the power balance between the supply side and demand side and electric power demand of home use is indispensable and the computer system that enables to attain and integrate the EMS is required. In this study, energy management sensor network system is established, and the system consists of distributed collaborative demand-supply control system KNIVES, wireless environmental sensors and home power distributer (circuit breaker box) for measuring the power consumption of individual outlets. This system is examined in various environments, and the evaluations are described.
