Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we characterized and minimized the polarization dependence of the detection efficiency of NbN superconducting single-photon detectors. To that purpose, we used a superposition of two perpendicular superconducting single-photon detectors with a 10μm×10μm meander pattern, a filling factor of 0.5 and a thickness of 3.5 nm. We demonstrated that the polarization dependence could be almost completely suppressed.
