Abstract(in English) | In 2 dimensional magnetic recording with shingle writing, virtually one bit may be recorded into one grain. However, since a recording head has no information about positions of grains and the size of grains vary almost randomly, retrieved signal will be suffered from Inter-Tracke Interference (ITI) and Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI). Furthermore, ITI and ISI vary almost randomly. Simple mathematical models which model these phenomena are proposed. |
