Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we investigate the influences of network delay and packet loss on QoE (Quality of Experience) in a networked real-time game with haptic media. We use an air hockey game which two users play as the real-time game. For consistency and causality, we employ the adaptive Δ-causality control scheme with adaptive dead-reckoning, which the authors previously proposed. As a result of QoE assessment, we show that when the network delay or the packet loss rate is large, the fairness among terminals is damaged seriously.
