Data distribution system with merged with visible light and infrared communication

Abstract(in English) The communication system that uses both of infrared and visible light communications has been designed by using LED lighting in order to offer the profitable information for the user in the university and the museum, etc. The receiver displays the short textual information received by visible light communication on the image. If the user select it, information that is appropriate for the user is displayed by opening the HTML description file received by infrared communication using client-side database. Moreover, environmental information was collected with the sensor in addition to the above-mentioned device by using a small router equipped with Linux in the transmitting set, and the data distribution system was constructed.
