Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed a novel optical interconnect technique combining both an optical waveguide addressing technique by wavelength, and a passive optical waveguide alignment technique by a micro hole array (MHA). The MHA was made of UV curable resin by a photomask transfer method using a wavelength of 365nm. For the waveguide addressing, we applied a micro passive wavelength selector (MPWS) module. The MPWS was composed of an optical diffraction grating, a focusing lens, and the MHA. Experimental results of the optical interconnection prototype were obtained by using wavelengths of 470nm, 525nm and 590nm.
