Abstract(in English) The increasing of the recent internet traffic requires the high-speed transmission intra equipment of ICT equipment, like routers and servers. For this reason, the paradigm shift from electrical transmission to optical one is becoming a real possibility. We report that research trends and future directions for optical interconnects technologies.
