Abstract(in English) In mobile communication systems, wireless backhaul has been attracted as a promising method to cut cost consumed for covering service area with many small-sized base stations. We develop a large-scale wireless backhaul system in a shopping and business complex in Fukuoka city. The system provides a wide and continuous coverage of WiFi access using wireless backhaul enabled by original protocol suite for interference control. This paper introduces the backhaul system developed, the device used and performances measured.
