Abstract(in English) | As NGN are growing in the world, adopting video contribution networks to IP networks are being accelerated. Video contribution networks for transporting live video materials for a number of big sports events such as the FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa have been provided by IP networks. Fuji Television has been built their intra video network utilizing IP networks. As tape-less and file-based workflow are expanding, the IP networks will be an essential component. Advantages and challenges of the video contribution IP networks are described in this paper. |
