Abstract(in English) | Although the information which users want can be easily obtained on the Internet, they tend to feel stressed for finding the right information due to a huge number of information. This study focuses on "Ambient system" which conveys necessary information as a sign of the presence to the user so as to solve the above problem. Some studies on the ambient system use "light" or "winds" as the means to convey the information, which would restrict the user's activities. In this paper, a pinpoint weather information system using ambient sounds, which would not restrict the user's activities, will be proposed. In addition, the system structure, how to associate a sound to a type of weather and the feasibility of the proposed system will be reported. |
