Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Laser-range scanners are useful to estimate locations and trajectories of people. In our previous work, we have proposed a method using short-range communication devices as well as laser-range scanners to more accurately estimate trajectories of people moving within region such as exhibition halls or concourses. In this paper, we present new experimental results by an improved version of the algorithm. The experimental result have shown that the recognition ratio was so much higher and the proposed algorithm was successful in tracking all targets.
