Evaluation of Information Provision Methods for Website Audience on a Life Log Collection System

Abstract(in English) In recent years, a lot of web services that are sent information by users themselves have been widely developing. However, many users tend to stop the use of these services. Therefore, we have developed system, called BlogWear, which generates weblog entries automatically using lifelog data. From the result of our previous experiment, we found that the system have to devise the presentation of the information. Therefore, we make it possible for a logger to refine images by controlling whether or not they log images. In addition, we make it possible to send suitable update notifications by controlling whether they are operated in automatic or manual mode. The results of the experiment are as follow: (1) Location information needs to combine with other information for presentation. (2) BlogWear system needs to bring together entries that have the same information or very little information. (3) Both automatic and manual update notification have the same effect on audience.
