Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to conduct a subjective evaluation using questionnaire, of which the respondents are asked to rate their position on each of stimulus word scales (for example: Good-Bad Adequate-Inadequate or Valuable-Worthless), it is important and difficult to prepare the stimulus (or impressive) words. In this paper, we propose a method that selects stimulus onomatopoeia expressions, which are used in a livelier sense than general adjectives, for making a questionnaire. These onomatopoeia expressions are automatically extracted from Web pages on the Internet through evaluating whether the expressions are used in either a positive or negative context.
