Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a stable IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter design method with a specified maximum pole radius using the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is proposed. In the method, the poles and zeros of IIR filter transfer function are seemed as the parameters to be designed. Therefore, a necessary and sufficient condition for the stability of the IIR filter can be assured and a design with a specified maximum pole radius can be realized. Although such a problem is a nonlinear optimization problem, the PSO is applied for a fast design. The design examples are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method.
