Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a quasi-equiripple design method for complex approximation of FIR filters. In general, a min-max criterion design selects extremal frequency points among divided frequencies. Therefore, a linear programming method which is one of the min-max criterion design methods requires a large number of constraints in a case of higher order filter design. In this study, we formulate such problem as a semidefinite programming under the error energy minimization criterion and carry out a quasi-equiripple design by updating a weighting function. This method does not depend on the number of constraints. Several design examples are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method.
